Professional Competency

Professional Competency & Regulation

Our Practice is regulated by The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) whose qualification is recognised globally.

Statutory Auditor Recognition

We are recognised as a Statutory Auditor in Ireland under the Companies Act, 1990 and the European Communities (Statutory Audit) (Directive 2006/43/EC) Regulations 2010, whilst we are further recognised as a Statutory Auditor in the United Kingdom within the terms of the Companies Act, 2006.

Investment Business Authorisation

We are also authorised to conduct Investment Business in Ireland by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (ICPAI).

Professional Standards Award

We hold certification from ACCA under their “Quality Checked” programme which recognises and certifies the implementation of best practice procedures.

Firms that have been awarded an ACCA Quality Checked mark have maintained a high standard of excellence in the wide range of activities typically carried out in mid-sized practices. Good quality controls help to maintain the quality of work and a consistently good service to clients.

The ACCA Quality Checked mark confirms that the practice has achieved and maintained a standard of excellence that enables it to offer the best available service to clients.

Our Practice is the holder of Silver Level status under the ACCA Approved Employer Trainee Development programmes in recognition of the support we provide to ACCA trainees and affiliates who are working towards the ACCA professional qualification or the ACCA Certified Accounting Technical qualification.
